Site Downtime

update 26/05;

Email systems are now back online, registration is open.

========================

update 25/05;

All issues should now be resolved with the exception of mail notifications and user registration. Theses will be returned to normality asap, with likely resolution tomorrow.

========================

As you may have seen in our Twitter and Facebook posts unfortunately we suffered a hardware failure on Sunday afternoon which put the webserver out of commission until the hardware could be replaced.

I'm glad to say the work went well as did installation and restoring our data from backups. The last backup took place around 3-4 hours before the failure so you may find that if you changed avatar, uploaded attachments, or added media etc after that time (approximately 8am-9am GMT) links may be broken or images missing.

In the meantime, email services are still to be restored so registration is currently closed an you won't receive email notifications. Aside from that it's business as usual apart from a little tweaking here and there.

If you do spot anything please drop me a message in this thread and I'll take a look.

Hello Dave, sorry but,,,
In IE11 - I'm getting a msg to:
- open or save (adServerESL.js of secure.insightexpressai.com?)
I am unable to attach the screen here. Accuses error during upload,
but does not say what the error is.

And in the mobile Android also accuses malicious action (vírus?).
The site was down for maintenance but the problem remains.
I do not know to whom I report, then transfer/report to the admins.

I hope to resolve soon, I'm just reporting.

Agree with all of the above, was amazed how lost you feel without getting an Rd fix. Was waking up in the middle of the night and found myself checking my phone just to see if it was back, great job Dave getting it sorted.

And thank you to all the staff and members that make this site so great, now never leave us ever ever ever again.

Thanks @Dave Stephenson! You're a wiz!

When uploading images to a forum post I get an error saying there was a problem uploading the file. Sounds pretty broad, I know, but that's literally what it says. lol

"The following error occurred
There was a problem uploading your file."

It's seems like it's not allowing uploads, so image attachments and updates to mods fail with the same generic message. Good luck guys!

attachment issue should be resolved
