PC2 Shifters don't work?

I'm using my new Fanatec CSL DD and no matter what I do I can't get the shifters to register in-game, in the calibration menu they work but when I try to race nothing they don't work.
I've just realised that my fanatec shifter works but only in H mode the sequential won't work even though I have it mapped in-game
Has anyone else experienced this/have a work around?

Just incase someone else has this problem I solved it by making a custom profile
