AC Senna Special Event: Lotus 98T @ Spa - Sat 07Apr18

This week we finish the week celebrating Ayrton Senna with a trip to Spa. The race will be 1 hour and there will be a mandatory pit stop between 10 and 50 minutes. Please note, the US is in Daylight Savings Time so Saturday races start at 19:00GMT / 15:00EDT.

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule

1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
   You will be penalized if you break our rules

Hello boiz&galz, Dr. Lum here with a little experiment:

Ingredients:
- 1x Lotus 98T
- 1x Standard Setup
- 1x Spa-Francorchamps
- 1x Put the TURBO at 0 %

Experiment conclusion:
- The car only can use up to 3 gears (4th gear possible exiting Pouhon)
- Topspeed: like a Mazda MX-5 Cup (yes, you read that right)
- Grip: NOT like a Mazda MX-5 Cup (yes, that should be obvious, but there you go)
- I can't discuss times because of rulez but... it was faster than a Cuppy, but not by much

It is on the calendar under the EU banner. Next weeks race will be under the US banner. Just cross pollinating the clubs to get more eyes on it If you don't sign up, I understand. I mean it's Masters Weekend so I'm sure you'll be at the tournament I know I would be if I could Golf is what I'm good at and what I love:

Huh. Could have sworn the entirety of Saturday just wasn't on the calendar.
But nah, as much as I love F1, I've been avoiding the F1 races since I just can't drive the cars without loads of practice, which I don't have big enough chunks of time to dedicate to. Only one I've done (but it wasn't recent) was the F2004 since it has TC.
