Sector3 Studios have released a work in progress shot of the upcoming McLaren 650S GT3, appearing in game at the yet to be released Silverstone Circuit. The new preview gives the first serious in game screens of both pieces of new content coming soon for RaceRoom Racing Experience.

With a host of next generation GT3 machinery announced for RaceRoom in recent months, the above screen shot is the first opportunity players have had to see the digital recreation of the car by Sector3 Studios. No doubt comprising the same critical attention to detail as previous cars released by the Swedish studio, the 650S GT3 will mark the first of the new generation machinery to be made available for RaceRoom.

Although no release date has been shared as yet, the new work in progress shots do seem to be rather well on in the development cycle, and could well be made available for purchase sooner rather than later. With a big patch to the game just around the corner, one hopes it will not be long until the new content will be released for public use.

With the McLaren 650S GT3 a step up in both age and technology in comparison to some of the other GT3 machines in RaceRoom, the studio have been quick to capitalise on their excellent licencing ability and have already confirmed the Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R, Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, BMW M235i Racing and Mercedes AMG GT3 will be heading to the title in the near future. With a new ADAC season to be added to the game shortly, perhaps the McLaren will be the first of many GT3 releases coming to the sim in the next few months.

RaceRoom Racing Experience is available as a free download now. Additional content can be purchased for the title in the in game store, or certain packages are available on Steam.

Just shelve it already. As there doesn't appear to be any genuine effort being made to fix various issues mentioned on this forum. It's quite clear their vision is only interested in creating content to flog off to punters.

So yeah, give up already. Let SimBin come through and grab the Devs out of S3 studios that they want. And build a new game from scratch with all the fundamentals in place from the get go.

This game DID have potential, but all faith in it being a complete game had died long ago. It's a shame considering to what it could've been.

Would not put a bet on that. After the Simbin revive announcement it went silent as before...
"Only speak when ur words are able to power the silence".:cautious:

There was mention on the S3 forum by J-F Chardon that one of their devs was working on better data displays. Whether or not they would be authentic to specific cars he didn't say.

That's what he is tolding us for two or more years. it seems a basic LCD display is a problem to them...and that's why I have stopped investing in R3E at the first place...the focus is on releasing new content and grab as much money as they can and leaving us only promises...
