This is a comparison of different Satsuma parts and how much they effect performance.
The set ups are in the following order:
  • Stock
  • Stock+ (Steel Headers, Racing Flywheel, Racing Exhaust & Muffler)
  • Twin Carburettor
  • Race Carburettor
To compare the horsepower and torque I'll be using Roman266's Show Satsuma speed and power.
Satsuma is fully tuned, condition of parts is full and engine is heated to optimal temperature.

With the stock builds I'd recommend against removing the airfilter, the 5hp increase may be nice but it will wear parts of your engine faster

So, the race carb looks like it doesn't have air filters. Does it also wear out the engine faster?

Thanks for doing all this BTW, it's very helpful for planning out upgrades.

Does removing the exhaust pipe change the horsepower as well?
