*IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ*

Historic racing is famous for the gentleman racer era and that is the kind of atmosphere that I'd like to foster in the club. Please take time to read these web pages and try to get an understanding of what racing in this club is/should be all about.

Thanks

The Guide to Road Racing, Part 8: Passing Etiquette - Winding Road

http://wiki.grandprixlegends.info/index.php?title=GPL_Recommended_Driver_Behaviour#Corner_Rights

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
  • Note: Please use your full real name in game and on Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

I'm in. This is my favourite Yank track, tricky in parts but flows too.
Yep, she's a bute. Specially this version, which has been ported from the recent AC version which was done by top modder @Johnr777 with help and support (I think) from one or two other crack AC modders (You guys know who you are. :notworthy:). The AC download is HERE

In truth I myself wouldn't know which track is more accurate, but as I understand it, the main premise of this version was to make an accurate playable version available. I think it looks and drives great so that's good for me, but for anybody who gets niggled/distracted or whatever by inaccuracies, I recommend you give this track a go.
Let's see if we can get a decent grid together and do the track (and the car IMO) justice. :)

@Yves Larose ,@IceColdBeard_24 ,@pattikins ,@alexSchmurtz ,@Allan Ramsbottom any of you gents fancy this? :D

Thanks for the mention! This project was all me this time.

Happy to say mine is the most accurate Road Atlanta ever built, including commercial efforts out there. :D

Nice to see the rFactor 2 community having the opportunity to use it as well! Enjoy

Hang on! You are on here!
I don't use AC (never got into it), but this track is amazing! Really happy that Digga, odb "& co" were allowed to convert it. They are probably the best people in converting the tracks, keeping the quality, and adding rF2 stuff to them.

I'm just grateful that people like you allow conversions, and that people with the needed skill does them :)

Thank you! :D

Amen to that.

Denis has gone rogue. ;) Wish I could join you, but the doctor's appointment says otherwise. Have fun.
The car is kinda in my window for a "real" car. No assists and I can drive it manual shift. It actually drives really nice IMO. Don't really get why so few sign ups. @Ole Marius Myrvold would it be ok for me to bring this event to the attention of people racing in your Friday event please? Maybe by me making a post with a link in the Friday event thread?

I clicked "like" to kinda say "no worries, do it". As I had no time to write. Just in case you didn't catch that attempt to be smart from me. It's fine! ;) post as you like. It's the rF2 Club both of it! :)
