Riding on the hype of Le Mans, we'll take the trip to Sebring for this weeks event! With a little twist. As the GTE's are relatively unpopular compared to the prototypes, while the GT3's are quite popular. We are emulating the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, and using DPi, LMP2 and GTDaytona(GT3's).
Also. At the time of posting, there is a fun weather forecast
:giggle:

INFORMATION & BASIC RULES

  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so. If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class then the same rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake. Please be sensible.
  • All of the standard Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.
  • You do not need to nominate which car you will drive, but should specify in which class you would like to drive when signing up.

I'm totally not prepared but...sign me up for GT3 Plast please :)

Who needs to be prepared, we don't even know what the weather will be like! :O

Sorry Ole, going to have to drop out, shame there is so few entries.

Aww. Ye, I guess it's combination of still good weather quite a few places, and a loss of momentum due to the summer-break.
Also, I haven't had any time to do any sort of promotion of it.

Cadillac DPI-V.R :)

DPi for me please

Yes sirs! :)

Thanks for the race guys, that was intense! Didn't get a good quali lap in and thought this was going nowhere without proper practice. Had never driven in the rain in this sim so no clue about tyres or how it feels. Looked quite wet so went for rain tyres. Turned out to be a good choice at the beginning, some good hard fighting with @Javier Bernedo. Found a good rythm for a while until with like 15 mins to go the track was pretty much dry. Figured I'd not change and just fight towards the end, last few laps were a bit tough but with everyone changing tyres the lead was big enough to keep it. Pretty happy with my first rain race in rF2 :D

So wet tyres worked a lot better on GT3's then. @Steve Le Gallez were the only prototype on wets. He struggled a lot.

First wet race for me in rF2 as well, it was... interesting :p It looks like the wet/dry stuff works quite well though. Possibly should remove the "x2" from track evolution for the future, I could visibly see it drying at times. A bit too sped up.
