INFORMATION & BASIC RULES

  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so. If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class then the same rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake. Please be sensible.
  • All of the standard Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.
  • You do not need to nominate which car you will drive, but should specify in which class you would like to drive when signing up.

SERVER UP!

Growing up, for me, the name Vanwall is solely associated with 1950's F1 cars. (green cigars)

However... Sign me up with one of those please!

Same here!

yes please!, vanwall!

I'll try a Vanwall myself :)

Please in with Vanwall

Yeah, going with a van in the wall too :)

I would like to participate in the GTE class. :)

I'll be changing to GTE then, haha! :)

Hello everyone, I have a small question. I did a test race for the event, and like in Sebring recently, it happened to me that, unlike the other tires, my right front wheel deteriorated extremely due to overheating when braking. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong? Is it maybe an essential setup setting?

I am pretty sure it means that you lock up your right front.

Maybe you need to try low pedal force, GTE don't have ABS so sure you're locking this tyre. Differential is a help in thge setup and maybe soft front spring and bump damper, but first is pedal force. Obviously you should brake in straight line avoiding to turn too fast the wheel because it would be more easy to lock tyres, in this case the inside tyre

I think a complete uninstall, and fresh install would be a good thing for me to do, question though, will all the mods i'm subscribed to in the workshop automatically d/l? and anything I need to do with regards to FFB settings or overlays in simhub? any help is appreciated

The subbed mods should autodownload, which means that a reinstall can take a bit of time.
SimHub I'm not able to help with, sadly.
It's also adviced to make a backup of the UserData folder, that's where your setups, controller settings etc. are stored.
If you have many plugins that you don't find easy, I would also back up the Bin64/Plugins folder.
