So I decided to find the best Dodge Viper (Chrysler's 1992-2017 attempt at a Corvette C4/C5 competitor, which has since been abandoned). I have three in my virtual scuderia. I tried them all. Meh. Then I remembered I also have Race Sim Studio's so-called "Vortex," which is their Viper that they can't call a Viper 'cuz they don't have the license. But it looks like a Viper, it feels like a Viper and it goes like a Viper. And, important to me, it sounds like a Viper (that weird V10 sound that dominated F1 from 1995 to 2010). RSS's Vortex bodywork looks a lot more refined than my other Vipers (including the one that Kunos shipped with the game), and there are a bunch of realistic third-party skins...more than the other three combined. I decided to test at Brno because it's mostly right-angle, point-and-squirt corners that are red-meat to torque-rich front-engined cars like the Viper/Vortex. The RSS example of the marque turned out to be the best; no surprise there. Ten-lap race setup.
