First, there is an optional 60 minutes practice session, then a qualifying session which lasts for 20 minutes (plus a bit for people to finish their current hotlap).
The race format for this round is: one 60 minutes race, pit stop IS mandatory.

Further info (like weather etc.) can be found on the championship page by clicking on the purple button EVENT DETAILS at the bottom of the page in the Suzuka event area.

@Bob Luneski
I have trapped nerve in my S5 , L5, falling from the loft hatch onto my back was not going to help matters either recently, so I consider myself very lucky to still be able to walk and get around.
Causes numb feet, I have thought about an operation, but I took the view that I do not want it to go wrong and not be able to walk at all.
and at my age being too spritely would look a bit weird.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Finally an encouraging race for me. Finished for the first time without any major mistake and well within the lead lap. There were early pressure, but they either got by me or faded so it was a lonely race. Nevertheless, the sheer concentration required to pull off this 60 min race was scary. And that was aiming for a steady race pace. I am really happy to have done it, something to really build on.

Congratulations to Alex, Steve and Thomas (who reeled me in at alarming pace and past me twice at 130R, that spoon curve was a hard nut to crack for driving out well) for wining and podium!

Thanks to Han and Markus for organizing the race!

Hey Dai, you were flying and well on the pace. When i started the race you nipped past me on the 1st curve and our pace was very similar as i followed you and thinking to myself "how am i going to keep this up for an hour". Well done mate, very intense race for all except Axel who just left us to it.

Great race last night and the battle with Steve was immense. Difficult to keep concentration with someone in your mirrors for most of the race but enjoyable non the less.
Thomas had amazing pace to recover after his early off and Steve is right Jason, get the aero working and these cars stick like glue.
T1 & T2 were awesome but you still need to respect the throttle out of the slower turns.
Well done podiums, looks like I will miss the next one (Losail) due to being away :( but looking forward to getting some downforce through the COTA esses.

A truly fantastic way to spend an hour with these cars and track. Paul and i had the most intense battle for what was probably 50 mins. Each of us making best use of small mistakes we would make along the way with position changes maybe 4 times between us and never more than a second apart. I managed to pull a little distance at around 50 mins and was hoping Paul would present a barrier to Thomas who was making forward progress. He got past and then had me on his hit list getting quite close at one point but was just able to raise my game a little and secure a good enough margin at the end. Thanks everyone, a great race

First of all the braking, these cars are all about braking. You can reduce the brake pressure but that means you kill the total braking down to sub 60 mph.
Second, I find them too much. So hectic, you cannot enjoy, you are just crushed into every millisecond.
Thirdly, you have to spend so much time practicing every detail of the circuit for a race, more than I am willing to put in.
Fourthly, it has its redeeming features, but not enough to counter the bad. ( needs abs )
Fifthly, I am pleased that it has its followers, so god bless all that sail in her.:)

High speed oversteer wasn't my problem in this one, aero was at 14 - 10 and the car felt fine in general i am just not enjoying the car which leads me to getting annoyed with it faster and then making more mistakes. also that was the worst race start i have done in these, the car turned right so fast on the launch i almost took out axel, so from the start line it pissed me off.

We have been driving these for a few months now and i feel like iv never been control.
