Rfactor 1 crash

Rfactor 1 crashes to desktop when I exit the track. Track loads fine, car runs fine, it goes to main screen, says saving replay at the bottom the crashes right desktop without any error popup.
Doesn't matter which track or which car mod I'm using. Can't get it to generate an error log. Is there something you add to the target box like - trace to get it to show a crash log?

Yes, rfactor will create a trace file (right click your rFactor shortcut, select properties then add trace=5 to the target link of your shortcut. The target line should then look something like this - "C:\Games\rFactor\rFactor.exe" trace=5
the added text must be in lowercase and after the quotation marks). Crashes on exit are often due to permissions issues on newer computers; rfactor writes to several files when exiting a race or the game, if prevented for any reason it may crash. Also there is graphic mode switching between the 3D screen and menus, on some systems this may cause issues if not properly configured. Run the rfconfig again and double check the resolution and DX settings.

Thank you for the help. Turned out it was a problem with the RFE Weather plug in. Reinstalled the plug in, set weather to sunny and everything works fine again.
