The new five car 'Endurance Pack' DLC will be released tomorrow for rFactor 2, and to celebrate Studio 397 have revealed a new trailer for this exciting pack of cars.

Bringing the BMW M8 GTE to a racing simulation for the first time, the wonderful Porsche 911 RSR GTE, the beastly Chevrolet Corvette C7.R and two Prototypes in the form of the Norma M30 and Oreca 07, the brand new 'Endurance Pack' DLC release for rFactor 2 looks set fair to be one of the most impressive collections of content for the simulation since Studio 397 took control of the game back in 2016.

Making the most of the rapidly improving new DX11 build and graphic output, the new five pack of cars already look the part, and thanks to the advanced physics that the rFactor series has been renowned for in recent years, the odds of these cars living up to their visuals in the handling department remains very high indeed...

The new pack can be purchased from the rFactor 2 Steam Store for £13.15 and will release Friday 15th June.

rFactor 2 is available exclusively for PC from Steam now.

I see a number of you only bought one car from the car packs. This topic is old but I'll venture a warning anyhow. You cannot join a server that has all 5 cars from a carpak unless you too have all 5 cars. If the server limits the race to only the Oreca 07, then all you need is the Oreca. But if the server has all the GTE cars as well, then you won't be able to join an online session without having all five cars.

That's a bit sucky...
I mean, if you've bought something from the pack you should be able to enter the races but with just that car. I guess its because they are physically downloaded meaning your version of the game wouldn't be able to display the cars.
Doesn't Raceroom download all content regardless, meaning you can do this without issue?

And this works... without alienating people who don't want to buy the full packs.
I mean their model, their own weird currency system notwithstanding, does seem to work. You want to only race the Aston Martin out of the GT3 pack, you can, and race online with others driving other cars.
Stopping people from joining online just because they dont have the same content is a sure fire way to further fragment what is already quite a fragmented niche sector of the PC gaming community...
