To coincide with the recent update to the 1975 Brabham BT44B, Image Space Incorporated's
Michael Borda has released the latest in his line of Physics Development blogs. In the newest blog post, Borda concentrates on tTool & Batch Testing.

The Brabham BT44B has been developed under licence by ISI using the latest tools available to the studio, however what has made this car different to previous releases is the accompanying detailed support documentation posted by ISI. Michael Borda, who has been responsible for the development of the Brabham, has released several highly detailed blog posts explaining some of the more in depth aspects involved with creating a vehicle for rFactor 2.

Usually Borda's blog postings (as can be seen on the ISI Forum here) coincide with the relevant update release of the Brabham, so players can learn how the process behind the development phase work while at the same time trying out the latest version for themselves.

With 0.80 having been released recently, ISI have posted another highly detailed explanation behind the work involved in creating the detailed physical characteristics found in rFactor 2 tyres. Interesting reading for those who wish to browse, but potentially vital information for the many established and developing modding groups throughout the community. This is an excellent imitative from ISI and has gone a long way towards supporting the many individuals with an interest in creating mod vehicles for rF2. It is highly refreshing to see the studio share this level of information and hopefully help strengthen the somewhat shrunken modding community in recent times.

I'm guessing that's just while it's in testing?
Hope so anyways.

Yup. Assume all "v1.0" content to be available as individual download on the website unless ISI states otherwise in the future.

Yep, 1098 was the last non-steam update, every update on content or core game from now on will be steam only, modders will do non steam but anything ISI or approved 3rd party will be steam only.
