Request for gear shift beep

I have a mod request-just throwing this out there for something in the future
I have found it difficult to see the gear change lights turn red/purple to tell me when to change gear and I was wondering if it would be possible to make something where you would hear a "beep" when you need to shift.
I was watching a race on BBC from last year and David Coulthard mentioned that they have something similar in the real cars and I thought it would be really helpful (if it is possible to do )

I second this request. It would be very nice to have the audible alert. I watched the same BBC segment and I also read it someplace that other drivers really use it a lot more than the visual one.

I third this request IRACING has an app like this rfactor needs this app definitely time in the bag.
