FVRV8 2010 v2.0 Released

Welcome to the FVRV8 2010 Aussie Racing Series v2.0 by the FVRFactor.com mod team!!

This is the current Race 07/GTR Evo/STCC/RaceOn version of the all new 2010 FVRV8 rFactor mod and uses the same car models as from that mod.

Features added to the GTR Evo release:
- Custom Skin support using the "CustomSkins" folder .ini system
- Animated wipers
- Wet tyres tyre physics models
- Functioning Rain/Dirtscreen

Known issues:
- Non-adjustable Final Rear Diff Ratio. The Aussie V8 Series use fixed gearbox ratios with 4 final diff ratios to choose from. GTR Evo doesn't support this being adjustable, so we have made the gearbox adjustable with all ratios that would be available in via those 4 diffs.
- If you select Heavy Rain, the AI won't get the correct tyres, this is due to Simbin not working corectly with more than 2 tyre compounds.

Very Cool mod! Great sounds, those big V8's!:D
I only dislikes the way the camera moves behind the car in swingman mode. It is not the same as for example the Clio mod. Is this as it should be, or have I done something wrong with the instalation?
Hope it could be solved, that would make the mod even better!
My compliments for the great work! Keep going :D

These cars understeer alot, any setup tips for these monsters to get rid of the understeer? (and oversteer too, but the amount of power these things have, that might be tricky).

:)

Right it's 3am, I have created a new .sp file + tweaked a few more files so things like the tyre compounds don't change by themselves :) adjusted the hood view. adjusted the gear shift animation, just a couple of other small things I want to sort and will release a new full version probably on Saturday all going well...
