Been enjoying running long practice sessions with the Skip Barber car on flowing tracks like Ibarra or Lime Rock. Put some music on and some AI as race buddies then flow around the track feeling the balance of the car and just getting lost in an absorbing but calm driving experience.
A great alternative to angry and chaotic open multiplayer races where you can be exposed to some unpleasant human behavior.
These practice sessions feel more like doing drawing or music where you just become absorbed by doing something and that's rewarding by itself. I didn't expect sim racing provides that type of activity.
