Make sure you back up aall your files, originals included but the database file, make sure you back up your old one at the least.

As far as I know, it should not corrupt your game saves...

I recommend starting career over in amateur mode, because tier one and 5 are the strongest, 2 3 4 are strong but not as mu8ch to give you a chance..

oribably right i tested on my game, when I think about it now, it wouldnt corrupt where it came from,

anyone out there please let me know if your save games were read or not???
