if you have 1 bug with display time,

the PLR file has changed of location :

C:\Users\$USER$\Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\UserData\$NICKNAME$

change into the file $Nickname$.plr

In PLR file for your profile change
Data Acquisition In Race="0"
to
Data Acquisition In Race="1"

and laptime et calculated fuel work properly in race
Don't forget Administrators rights on Vista and Seven

not meant as a thread hijack - just an aside really:

i really like the lcd screen in fFactor... i see an option for it in GTRe, but nothing happens when i try to activate it... i've seen others speak of it though, but maybe with less detail - hence the need for the tool above, am guessing....

can anyone shed any light on this?

I have been using the SimTools stuff to date, its currently missing some data though (coming with ver 1.3 soon) ... if you haven't seen that, maybe check it out for more ideas and inspiration for your creation?

Only managed to turn 1 lap with this on as I have to shoot out now ... buuuuut ... I noticed differences in tyre temps or they are a bit mixed up maybe?
Inside middle and outside temps seemed different to in car setup screen and Simview readings ... will check again later when I have more time, but maybe you can do likewise?

Also, not wishing to sound pushy but ... rev counter (graphical bar style?) and a shift light would be a fantastic additions IMO :wink:

Neat programe, But as Lee has stated there seems to be a major differance between Race 07 and your programe when it comes to tyre temp.

Even tried lowering and highing the read time to no avail. As Lees allready pointed out -
Revs, Brake grpahs would be nice also the addition of showing if the front or rear wheels are locking up as per the PD system.

seems sporadic ... just did 2 laps and saw only 1 degree C diff in tyre temps ... but earlier when I posted the other comment, I had wildly different figures

So do you need to have dual monitors in order to use it? Or play in the Windowed mode? Or is there a way to monitor a remote PC?

More feedback for yas ... as I used this in the online mini race last night, and am finding it has helped me a lot in understanding setups etc ... being able to see colours for temps out of the corner of my eye whilst driving is handy (especially when it turns red :wink

- Temps all now seem ok just with different roundings - dunno what happened with first run but not seen major differences since then
- feedback from online race last night: during practice, warmup and quali everything worked fine, but during the race, the fuel, lap no's and laptimes were no longer displayed.
Are you using the motec data output to collect your info? 'cos if you are I think it is disabled during online races, hence this problem.
I had simview running in parallel and that showed lap nos, laptimes etc no probs ... so guess there is another source for that data coming from somewhere??

Anyhow ... great tool, and please please please continue the development of it 'cos I and probably many others find this very useful :thumb:
