MOD Installation.
To join this event, you need to download the custom mod above. Both track and series (install first) as well as the MOD (install second) MUST be installed to join the server.
Follow this installation instruction:
- Download the track
- Download the series
- Download the MOD
- Place all files in the packages folder
- Install the track
- UNtick the Show Mods Only box

- Install the update on the HistoricOpenWheels
- Tick the Show Mods Only box.
- Install the mod
- Join the server.
When you have the track, or the Classic RD Skinpack already installed, there is no need to download it again, and reinstall. It's the same track. In that case only download the F3 series and/or MOD


Server joining.
When you join the server, and need to select your car, ALL car's will be shown to choose from. There is an issue with that I can't solve now. PLEASE select a RD skinned Classic Formul 3 car. Any other car then F3's, and you will NOT be able to join!

Notes:

1. Chatting of any kind during Qualifying and the Race is strictly prohibited in the chat. There is no need to say sorry/thanks/pitting/leaving pits/etc. Anything that needs to be said can wait until after the session.
2. If you feel you were wronged in any way during an event and wish to report the incident, simply send the event organiser a private message. Please include a description of the incident along with a video. If you are unable to create a video, please include details such as who was involved and where the incident happened with a timestamp. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.
3. We encourage all our drivers to use Teamspeak 3, download here. Talking directly to your fellow drivers increases the fun and the ability to share information in an easy friendly way. It will improve your driving skills dramatically, Log in here
4. Please take into account that rFactor 2 is still in beta stage and that technical problems might occur. If you spot a bug please post a (constructive) report in the dedicated bug forum here.

A little side note in regards to the broadcast. This has to be confirmed still, so I am not 100% sure if we manage to arrange this in time. I will confirm here if we are able to make it!

I will make the mod tomorrow, and put the download links in. I will also set up the server, so you can have some practice at it.

Last side note! Please all mind the time switch this weekend for GMT time! The event starting times are adjusted! Make sure to check for your local time zone!

Sorry, Marco, but I have the usual questions about installation. The zip file contains two files: RD Classic F3 @ Searspoint.rfmod and RDF3.rfcmp. I have files with these names already in my rF2 Packages folder. It seems I need to first use the Mod Manager to uninstall these, then save them somewhere else for backup, then put the two new files in the rF2 Packages folder, then use the rF2 Mod Manager to install them. I already have the track installed and working with Meganes. Thanks again for all the work. This looks like a great combo of car and track.

Top post updated a bit. More clear instructions.

Added the RDF3 skinpack. If you already had this one installed from the previous race, there is no need to install again. I will let you know when an update is needed. Same goes for the track. If you have those 2 (track + RDF3), just download and install the MOD.

I have a problem creating the mod. It enables all cars in the car selection screen. I want to wait a day more before I post it to look into it some more.
