Well yeah it runs on my laptop but I don't feel like bothering to install the game and mods just to play the game with keyboard.

Friendly mates, I had a look into most/all FAQ threads, and can't find how to save replays after a full rallye. Should I just save after every stage? And these files will be small enough to mail them?

Yes, you have to save them after each stage.
The sizes are usually not that big, I think the bigest I've seen was 2MB.
