Sector3 Studios have updated the new WTCR DLC for RaceRoom Racing Experience.

Mostly focussed on fine tuning the Balance of Performance for these seven new TCR specification cars recently added to RaceRoom Racing Experience, the new update released yesterday is a welcome tweak to what has proven to be an immensely popular piece of content, really bringing the pleasure of front wheel drive tin top action back to the forefront of sim racing.

Developed under licence from Eurosport and the FIA, the new WTCR DLC pack is the official representation of the newly rebranded World Touring Car Cup championship, the new series that replaces the now disbanded World Touring Car Championship, and marks a welcome continuation of the partnership between the series and Sector3 / SimBin Studios that started back with the Race series as long ago as 2006.

A lot of hate towards FWD.
If you grew up in the days of muscle cars and are used to RWD then driving a FWD is kind of associated with, how can I say this nicely, being a wimp. It's the same kind of attitude if you own a Harley, everything else is not a real motorcycle. But hey, times have changed, and engineering has changed through the years and made things better, but sometimes old attitudes never die.

I was never a huge fan of FWD, but I'm enjoying this WTCR pack, because it's a new challenge. You just have to approach FWD cars a little differently, and change some of your old RWD habits. But overall still loads of fun.

Wouldn't it have just been easier to increase the ballast weight on the Civic? :p
Think the Honda was topping most of the leaderboards, so makes sense to up the pace of the rest to compete with the Honda, may even mean the competition leaderboards won't have to be reset, not checked yet, so they may well of been zero'd already, slowing the Honda would just mean the times set could never be beaten. Anyway, who doesn't want a faster car? :O_o:
