Racer screen fades to black....

Why does the Racer screen go blank in a race when i press the record bind? i tried setting other binds but still no luck...

It's because of your gauges not been activated...bug in 0.8.36

Hello everyone, I still have this problem even in 0.8.38, whenever i press record button in Fraps the screen begins to fade to black. Please i need someone to help me!!
