okay, now that we are here, I'll explain a bit how the game works too:
First of all, I couldn't implement the kickoff, there is no kickoff. The goalie has the ball at the start, and the point of the game is to get past the entire other team by passing, dribbling past players, crossing, but also intercepting opposition's balls and tackling, so you are through on goal 1 on 1 with the keeper.
Or long shots. They can be taken from anywhere. Of course, strikers taking long shots have a bigger chance to score than midfielders taking long shots.
Speaking of long, this is not FIFA. I will make long shots a big risk, and even long passing. So everything with the word "long" is a risk you will have to take. But the reward is massive.
And also, injuries. Injuries can happen at any time, and are often caused by
a) lack of stamina/tiredness
b) a bad foul
c) Your team mentality, specifically easy - give all.
there is a random factor aswell, so if you get an injury in the first minute, don't blame me. How long it will last, ask excel. From 1 day up to 3 months.
fouls:
Defenders and only defenders can be cause for penalties. Any player can get a yellow or a red card, however chance of red card is bigger for defenders. (red card is given for through on goal fouls rite?)
Next up, stamina. Stamina has an impact on injuries like I mentioned above, but also has an impact on how the player actually plays. More stamina you have, the better. Might be worth it trying to save your players' stamina for the second half. Don't forget about the random factor aswell!
Another thing, players don't start their games with their stamina completely regenerated. I have no idea so far how much will the players regenerate. But I will find a nice balance! For pre-season, of course, they all start with the stamina that says on their futhead page.
also, mine and Tim's park-the-bus tactics may help our defence, but not our attack. You can even counter that tactic actually, if team 1 has 50, and team 2 50, and if team 1 has 1 and team 2 has 99, it's the same!
Therefore, all on attack is recommended against park the bus.
and also, may I suggest to Tim that the injuries etc. in friendlies don't count? So that people can actually learn some stuff about the game in the friendlies without negative consequences
