F1 2013 race starts with hugely worn tyres

Sometimes in career mode my race starts and the tres are clearly hugely worn, without the hud showing any signs of wear. Is this a known bug?

I think, but can't be sure that there is/was a bug, however it's so long ago I can't remember. The whole series had many bugs, so remembering what happened over the years to each release is a challenge

i heard that this was a bug in F1 2012...but 2013? never had this kind of problem....weird

Thanks Graham. Gonna try the suggestion of just restarting the race.

It is definitly a bug. The give away is the AI cars starting rolling as soon as the 5th light goes on. In a race where the tyres are good, they only do that when the 5th light goes out.
