It's British Grand Prix weekend folks - why not join in the fun here at RD in our very own virtual BGP using the awesome RaceRoom Racing Experience simulation!
We love our Formula One here at RD, and with the British Grand Prix representing one of the most historic race events of the Formula One season, we thought it might be a bit of fun to recreate some of the action for ourselves.
Do you fancy a 75 minute dash around the Grand Prix configuration of Silverstone in high performance open wheel racing cars? They look like Formula One cars, but they actually sound good... which is nice...
So if you have a Premium membership, own RaceRoom Racing Experience and the FR X-17 car in sim, then this Sunday 8th July could well be right up your street!
We know we are all likely to be watching the big race, so with that in mind we are going to run our own virtual version of the game from 19:00GMT on the Sunday, starting with a 30 minute Free Practice session at 19:00GMT, followed by a 15 minute qualifying at 19:30GMT and the main event - a full 75 minute epic race event without any mandatory pitstops (although you might want some fresh boots towards the middle of the race..)..
Get yourself signed up on the race thread that can be found HERE.
Have fun racing people!
