With Formula One and Blancpain GT having their own dedicated racing title, which other series would you most like to see recreated in full?

For years now we've had a trend of creating racing simulations that contain multiple types of racing categories and modding opportunities, and only recently that trend would be bucked by Kunos Simulazioni and their Assetto Corsa Competizione title - the official videogame of the Blancpain GT Series.

Making the most of the official licence, ACC has replicated the rules, regulations and details of the real series - marking the first occasion a racing sim developer has attempted this feat since the old GTR2 / Race07 days from the early 2000's.

The question I'd like to ask is...

if a sim racing developer was to make a standalone 'one series' racing sim, which championship would you most wish to see replicated?

I'd like to see a 'GTL2' which uses 50's and 60's circuits. A CART game would also be very nice, not to forget Group C. Maybe something with a big career mode like pCars but in the 50's and 60's.

IMSA ( Old and new )... Canam ... Transam .... as, mostly, European and/or International series are the most represented already.

As an Aussie, I would love to see a V8 supercars sim, though due to it's niche market (even here in Aus it is steadily losing popularity) I sadly doubt we will ever see a dedicated sim for it.

For that to happen, Australia needs to pull a "Reiza" and find a local game studio to make it, with feedback from a couple IRL V8 Supercar drivers.

My vote however is Indycar and IMSA.

I'm lucky... already have Blancpain GT3 which is what I was craving ever since the series started.

But if I could... I'd love S397 to get the WEC licence.
Or even Kunos to get the F1 license...

I'm with you Paul, Really miss BTCC and V8 Supercars of the past racing games. To see how far we have come from the GPL days.....(where I started & GTR2)....to now all three of your selections would be awesome to see in today's modern sims.
