F1M24 Question regarding making sponsor mods

Hi,
As someone new to F1M Modding, it seems pretty straight forward. However, I just wanted some clarification on whether the alpha layer of the image is supposed to be a fully black background with a monochrome version of the logo, or if I'm doing something wrong here.

Figured it was better to ask somewhere with people who may know, than repeatedly have to keep packaging the files only to find they don't work.

I haven't done sponsor logos, but usually on the alpha layer:
white = visible
black = invisible (transparent).
