question about photoshop

Can anyone help me?

I use photoshop regularly for art work, since I upgraded my pc I seam to be having some problems with the render lightening effect filter.
I get three lines across the picture and I cant work out why this is happening, will it have something to do with the fact I run windows 7 64bit ? where as before I was running 32bit.

Problem solved, it was the 64bit problem as I thought....

You sure it's that? I'm not conviced, I used to run 32 bit Photoshop on x64 Windows without problem.

Yeah im not convinced either mate but since changing, it all works, so I dont hink I want to dig deeper into it.
if it works then its best left, pandora's box an all that!!

Both x86 and x64 version work perfectly on 64bit systems.
