Purchasing Season Pass

Finally deciding that I wanted in on the Season Pass, I go to Steam to buy it. Normal checkout, proceed to install, and... whoa! I was expecting a small download package that unlocked my purchase in AMS, but, no, Steam launches into a 14.6 GB download! Aargh.

Good thing I'm already over my monthly allotment of priority satellite download quota so the download just goes slowly rather than quickly draining whatever was left of my quota.

I believe downloading the season pass will give you access to the beta... But I could be wrong.

Thanks, yes, that's what is downloading and my regular AMS is unlocked. That makes more sense!

You could have chosen not to download the beta and not install it. Thats' what I did. I have no use of the beta.
