F1 2013 PS3 - Help with Online Optimising

hi, I race in a couple of RD leagues and we struggle (more than ever) with connection issues, even getting people into a lobby can prove difficult...
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right dirrection, im looking for a comprehensive guide to optimising the ps3 for online gaming.... For idiots ideally (I don't really know what I'm doing, but trying to learn) I've found a few pointers online but thought this would be a good place to ask...

I have split this away from the general setup thread you originally posted this in. The setups sub-forum is for actual car setups (wings, gearbox etc.), not system setups

Quick and dirty:

Router
1 - I have all NAT settings so it is Open
2 - makes sure that they have UPnP turned on
3 - make sure everyone resets their router before joining a lobby. (Easy for League races as they are set times, harder for random online racing)

Connection to Router
- use wire connection to router, not wifi

Invite racers - Invite the closest racers with strongest connection first. Let them get in the lobby then invite the next ones and so on, leave the weakest connection and farthest drivers to last.
