No, you'll get your Road promotion regardless. I'll be moving to C in road and D in oval, next week.

Thanks Glenn. I shall be a D class driver hopefully next week. There is a update tonight/early morning though. Starts at 4am GMT(5am our time). I have a few hours to get those points in the bank I am at 3.77 in Road licence. Not very keen with Oval to be frank. Oval licence is 2.56 .

Just a random question, how the hell are you meant to break the 1:46.9xx at Laguna in the Solstice? lol, my theoretical best from my whole 1 week's iRacing experience is a 1:49.7xx, but the best I've actually managed was a 1:50.1xx. I couldn't imagine myself going any faster than I already have, what gives?

Hehe, that's always what I think when I watch replay of guys that are 2 sec faster on a track like Lime Rock. But when you check the cornering speed it always turns out, that they are faster in the corners. Not sure where they get the glue yires from, but that's another question

Congrats - just remember not to enter too many races if you are aiming to bag the most points each week. Once you do three races in the same week iRacing starts to average your score to your best 50% points finishes. (or something like that).

Ahhh, i was wondering about that 50% gig. it had confused me when i first read about it.

Yeah - it won't halve your points by 50%, but if you have scores of 100, 106, 85, 90 in the event of racing the same track four times in a week, it will give you a new 'best' points finish of 103 (or something like that0 rather than the 106.

Class B guys . For the first time got to use the Lotus 79 outside the Test Session and straight to a practice session with some guys that are just tooooo fast. 3 seconds off the pace at Road America.

2 Races down and ready for promotion to D. Tempted to sit on the SR until Monday - as it is I have RDCCC this weekend and there are a bunch of ARC RACE events at Sebring (a personal favorite) through monday.
