Xbox Live Gold members can now download the original Project CARS for free until March 16th 2017.

As part of the ongoing and rather successful 'Games With Gold' Microsoft promotion, any Xbox One owner with Xbox Live Gold membership can pick up the full version of the original Project CARS: Digital Edition as a free download from today. The current promotion also includes Xbox One title Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. For Xbox 360 owners (and through Xbox One backward compatibility), Monkey Island 2: Special Edition and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be included in February's promotion.

Project CARS was released for Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in May 2015 and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The much anticipated sequel, Project CARS 2, is already in development under the leadership of Ian Bell and Slightly Mad Studios and is scheduled to release around September 2017.

Project CARS is available to purchase for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Project CARS 2 is currently under development and due for release towards the end of 2017.
