Not any longer!! The price is now at £37.96, luckily I preordered last night as soon as I saw the cheap price. Looks like someone at Amazon must have made a mistake!!

I guess time wil ltell if they honour that original price, they don't have to of course but who knows some people may still get a bargain.

Got an email from Amazon today, they are cancelling orders made at that price as it was put up in error. I thought they might but it was worth a shot. I'll probably wait for a release date to be announced now and see if any of the retailers have pre-order bonuses like they do with other games.

It was bound to be an error. GT5 for £17 is silly. Although they probably got tons of pre-orders... Perhaps it wasn't a mistake?

Heh on this occassion I think I'll shop somewhere else. Not becasue I'm upset with Amazon for not honouring it but I only pre-ordered with them because of the price. Generally if I pre-order I use Gameplay as I know I'll get it on the day of release or sometimes one, two or even sometimes three days before release. It would have been nice if they had honoured it, but it was a simple mistake, its not like anyone was hurt.
