A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you have to check to see that its clear before you re enter the track, Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits Stay off the racing line until you are up to speed, do not race on your out lap. let other drivers by.
on re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed
and do not block any fast approaching car, you have made the mistake by going off remember, so let them by cleanly

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not his fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in teamspeak. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

Very interested but time is tight on Sunday. Can I be a maybe, please. If the places fill up, bump me first. I've not driven either of the cars yet or the track so I don't have a preference.

Hopefully you'll make it  The cars are otherwise identical except the Dallara being left-hand drive and the Coyote is right-hand drive.

I've tried the car on the track but with the default setup I'm not able to control the car. To be honest, I don't know where to begin with changes to the setup. I really need help with this one. Has anyone already a decent setup for the Dallara?

There's one available in the race post  (I kinda saw this coming :D )

Thanks Joel. Wow, that are a lot of changes. I see traction control in yours. In the hotlap configuration it wasn't an option (didn't try the onboard though) so that will make a difference for sure. I will have a go with it tomorrow.:)

I haven't driven that one in a while but from what I recall it was a lot more stable especially under braking. I have a few different variations of the setup on my pc(and a few from @Celtic Pharaoh as well) and I'll upload all of them when I get home so you all can try those out and see what fit you the best

Thanks @JoelK for the setup. I had a quick go yesterday with the default setup and I was surprised at how lethargic this car is. I know it's an endurance racer so needs to be stable, but it's not very responsive for my driving style. I made some of my own setup tweaks but I just made it slower :/ I'll try your setup this evening and see if it works for me.

What sort of lap times am I aiming for for a race scenario? I'm around 1.40/1.41 at the moment. Seems slow, but then I don't have a point of reference.

Er, I think you'll do fine Steve:whistling:

.......me: runs off to practice more:laugh:

Ha! Don't panic. My mistake. 42s and the occasional high 41.

It just feels like the car is missing something. No urgency throughout the rev range and oppressive understeer. I'll randomly move some setup sliders later in the hope that it does something positive. I really need to learn more about car setup than gear ratios and wing levels.
