Porsche DLC Volume 1 to Release 25th October for Assetto Corsa

Marco Massarutto of Kunos Simulazioni has revealed some exciting news for fans looking forward to the new Porsche DLC. Massarutto has confirmed the first seven models to be released, and revealed the opening volume will be available for purchase October 25th for PC and slightly later for console, due to the usual console approvals process.

In other related news, Massarutto has confirmed approval from Steam has been granted to allow a 'Season Pass' deal, which will bring a 28% saving to players planning to purchase all three DLC packages. More information on the Season Pass, Porsche Vol. 1 DLC and the new update will be made available in the coming days.

Porsche Vol. 1 DLC Car List:

• 911 Carrera S,
• 935 Moby Dick
• 918 Spyder
• Cayman GT4 Clubsport
• 718 Cayman S
• 917/30
• 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974

The Porsche Vol. 1 DLC package will retail for 6,99 Eur across all three platforms, however Kunos will shortly be offering the Season Pass DLC package, allowing players to pick up all three Porsche DLC volumes for 15 eur, a saving of 28% on the separate purchase price.

Massarutto has also confirmed that the upcoming update to version 1.9 of the game will include two free pieces of content, namely a 1960's version British Grand Prix venue Silverstone and the new Porsche Panamera G2 (image below).

Assetto Corsa Porsche Vol. 1 DLC will release October 25th for PC and shortly after for console.

Assetto Corsa is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC right now.

Where is the red pack for consoles ?

I believe they're still working on porting all the rocket ship controls for the SF15-T F1 car over to the console, likely not a quick/easy task. I still have three more years before I finish my master's degree in rocket science/computer programming so I can't even drive the thing yet even though it's already sitting in my garage.

On topic: I'm very surprised at the low price of the Porsche Packs, seeing as they're all guaranteed to contain nothing but Porsches it's a no-brainer for me to get the season pass.

Maybe because of the flagrant difference in physics work between the two titles. To be honest 20$ for 21 forza cars is, in my opinion, a robbery. 15$ for 21 cars in any Sim is a bargain. Again, my opinion.

Turn10 will sell 10 times as many copies as Kunos for roughly the same investment, doesn't take a business major to figure out that Kunos is somehow providing a hell of a deal.

A million visits a month equal a million opinions. Some opinions you will agree on others you will not. In general forum discussion never end and nobody is right or wrong. At some point if you can't stand somebody else their opinion hit the username and click the "ignore" button and your problem is solved.

We aren't going to moderate our forums like crazy unless forum rules are breached. When they are you and other members can hit the report button and we'll take appropriate actions.

The GT4 Clubsport is not a FIA / SRO GT4 car.
It's basically just a cup car for VLN.
However there is a proper GT4 upgrade kit available for the car, perhaps Kunos adds that as a S1 version?

It's basically just a cup car for VLN.
