Please be weary of trackaholics.com

Trackaholics itself is fine, in my experience. Other sites use ad.fly, too. Mods themselves are just a mixed bag.

Ad.fly is sketchy but it doesn't seem to be malicious.

You can copy those links, edit them and you'll find the real "http://..." link sitting at the end of the ad.fly url. Just paste that in the url bar to avoid ads.

Ah ok i did not know about that trick it's nice to have a second opinion on the site i think i am just used too modern style forums now luckily i can just create a new account when i feel safe enough to go on there again.
Any tips for avoiding car mods of poor quality? Sim racing is so different from RTS games like total war and there's no convenient steam workshop to let you be the judge it's really confusing for me as a noob lol.

First decide on the classes you're interested in, then check to see if they're available here on RD.
As someone who had 4 separate installs I would suggest you try a mod then if you're not happy delete it.
If you like older cars then one you must have is Power and Glory, one of the finest.
Happy hunting. :)

Adfly is always present for download links ( Mediafire especially ) with sites hosted by Forumotion ( same with Forumactif for France ).... I personally know 3 of them and all are that way
So the problem is more the host than the site .... and if the site has no financial incomes with memberships .... it should cost too much for a space allowing their own download hosting.
