Pitstop Window

Hey,
Does any body know if you can change the variant of the pit stop window in Race 07?
For example, in a fifteen lap race, the pit window is between laps 5 & 11.

If I wanted to make the window available for the whole fifteen laps or similar, is their a way of changing it or is it built into the game like the point system?
