Pit stop help please

When doing a 25 lap race, tires on the formula classic are starting to look a little well used so come into change tires around lap 11 , pull into the pits , the three colored lines complete so leave pits but they haven't changed my tires and tires still have bad wear on them, any help would be great thanks

Did you set up your pit strategy? You can do it from the in-car menu, although they apparently added the ability to do it from the pit menus now as well. (Haven't checked it out yet.)
