The 6th generation Volkswagen Jetta was the first Jetta that not derived from its bigger brother the Golf. Though not known for its sporting aptitude, Jetta shares the 4-wheel independent suspension: front struts and rear multi-link suspension with the Golf. Most important of all, I currently drives a 2015 Jetta TDI with 6-speed DSG transmission. It does not drive like my 2014 Ford Fiesta, 2005 Ford Focus, and definitely not like the Toyota MR2 Mk1.
