A preview a day keeps the WTCR anticipation at bay! In the latest WTCR DLC previews for RaceRoom Racing Experience we are introduced to the... Peugeot 308TCR!
Peugeot started out the new 2018 WTCR season very much as underdog against the big name teams and drivers, fielding a very new car and two inexperienced drivers, plus running a powerplant smaller in displacement to that of many of their rivals, many expected the plucky French manufacturer to have a difficult year ahead of them, something born out in the early stages as both Homola and Comte struggled to keep apace of their rivals in the opening rounds.
With some much needed development behind the team heading into the summer break and a series of races run on circuits that suit the little 308, results have been much improved in recent weeks, with both Comte and Homola taking surprise victories at Zandvoort and Villa Real respectively, topping a season that surely has delivered beyond expectation so early in the life of both team and car.
The newly rebranded and regulated FIA WTCR has proven to be a spectacular season thus far, and the upcoming DLC for RaceRoom Racing Experience that simulates this excellent championship should be no less rewarding, containing seven brands of car, all front wheel drive, all supporting close racing - what more could you want?
