Performance Assetto Corsa GTX 1050 TI

Performance Aseetto Corsa.

I have Windows 10.
Intel Core 2 quad.
CPU Q9550 2.83GHZ.
6 GB RAM
GTX 1050 TI.

I get 32 FPS at the start and 42 ~ 45 constants in the race with 20 cars.
No matter what wick in the settings, it always holds this value.
Being 10 or 20 cars.

Is this the maximum amount I can reach?

Im actually struggling with the same issue and i am under the impression that the CPU is bottle necking my system, reason being my laptop has a stronger CPU then my desktop but my desktop has a stronger GPU.(can run around 25 cars on the grid and run a constant 60fps on low graphics)

Laptop is running i5 5200, 8GB RAM, Nvidia 920m

Desktop running AMD Phenom x4 965 BE with 8GG RAM and HD5850 card.

I seem to be able to run the game with only a few settings turned a bit lower (AA etc) alone but as soon as i start to put AI i get cpu 99% etc and the it looks as if its in slowmo.

Its seems the fps is more consistent online but still not at smooth as my laptop even with all graphics settings turned to the lowest.

With full AI grid even my 4.4 GHz overclocked I7 2600k is at around 50% load. (60 fps)
The CPU isn't very important up to the point where it get's more than about 80% load :(
Sadly the am2+ Socket isn't up to date anymore. Normally you can upgrade AMD's very well after a few years...
Wish you luck finding a good deal when you will upgrade
