http://www.tcmagazine.com/tcm/news/misc/31848/pci-express-30-specifications-are-out-open pretty much the brakes on me buying a new vid card before year end, pretty pointless now as they will more than likely be updated to PCIe 3 spec in Q1\Q2, I know my UD7 mobo is only PCIe 2.0 but the next one will be V3.0 so I don't see the point buying a PCIe 2.0 spec card now.

It's backwards compatible so no need to worry and don't need to upgrade just for it.
