Painting own DRS Wings for F-Extreme? How to?

So, as the thread title states, I'm struggling to paint my own DRS Wings for the Formula Extreme. I'm all good with the rest of the skin but I'm struggling with the order of the layers on the DRS file. Do the custom painted layers want to be above the gold 'DRS ON'/ 'DRS OFF' and 'DRS ON alpha'/ 'DRS OFF alpha' layer or below? On the Reiza and any other they are above but when I save the file as a DDS like those and load it into the game the top is still gold but the bottom is the correct colour.
