I have just been browsing the RF2 mods section on my desktop (in chrome) and opened one in the background while i browsed the others but realised that the page had been redirected to a faux Mcafee website, i closed the window pretty much instantly, naturally. Unfortunately I don’t have any screens to post of it but i have noticed others have had similar issues.
I’ve never had it before and don’t seem to be getting it again either although i am a bit paranoid about it, i never use any questionable websites or download dodgy stuff and my PC hasn’t acted up at all so i am a bit mythed. I’ve scanned my PC with ADWCleaner, Malwarebytes and Kaspersky and they’ve come up clean so I’m not sure what is happening. Despite that i am still worried that i’ll have some terrible virus so any other stuff that i can check/do would be appreciated.
