Misc Overtake = Hotlap 3

Overtake = Hotlap - Overtake = Hotlap

Like the title say Overtake mod is no more effective than the Hotlap mode.
AI no longer blast by you on the straits because of the AI perfect ERS management and makes for much more closer racing.

Install:
Copy and paste in the game folder.

Hi, does this mean during quali it's safe to turn on overtake/hotlap throughout your whole quali lap?

Hotlap yes i would not recommend using overtake because it will drain your battery fast but you gain nothing since there is no difference between the two in terms of pace.

Okay got it. But how about in the race? Should I just use hotlap instead of overtake when I'm pushing? Since hotlap doesn't drain the battery as fast as overtake but now they have the same effect....

No.You are good to go.
Compering the files are identical to 1.6 patch aside the changes i made.
So all is well.

If it modifies the same ERP files then no.
If you are using the custom skins then there are XML files only that you can use with custom skin's.

Hi there I'm brand new to F1 games on PC, I'm looking to download this mod and add it to my game, I have SERP's for customisation on MyTeam so I'm not sure what or how to install this without it causing any issues with that, would really appreciate some step by step instructions on I can add this to the game thanks!

If you are using SERP than you are good to go.
SERP is using different parts for modifications just copy mine in the main directory and you are good to go.
It should be something like this
F1 24/2024 _aset_groups/f1_2024_ vehicle_package/teams..... and just replace and override when asked.
It's probably a good idea to make a backup of the original, just in case but you can always verify the files to restore it to Factory defaults.

I have not tried it in TT. But i think it will not be since both Hot lap and Overtake have the same values.

From doing TT with this mod and without it I can confirm for whatever reason I'm losing a huge amount of time down the straights compared to without the mod so I do believe it slows your straight line speed

Do i need a new save or someting? Cant get it to work. Have downloaded copy and paste files many times but i am doing something wrong. Could you help
