Only 1965 Mod runs, not the rest of Rfactor why?

I know this is a stupid question, but I setup my Rfactor so long ago I don't know why this happens. basically when I start Rfactor only the 1965 mod starts and I can't access anything else, but I'm not sure why.
Anyone know why this might be the case? BTW I'm using the DVD version, so the disc must be in for Rfactor to work.
Also why are all the tracks so grainy, speckled looking ?
