Hello all,
I'm back into sim racing after a fairly long stint away. Life, new kid, etc got in the way and now it seems to be much easier to get a very good deep experience.
I started doing this about 2002 in the Simbin GTR days using a Matrox Triple Head2Go because real triple screen support wasn't a thing in Windows back then. I still have and use my Logitech Driving Force Pro.
I'm currently slowly collecting new hardware to build a new modern sim rig because stuff is so much better now than it was back then. I've got my triple 32" screens already, and I plan to build an 80/20 rig using my old seat from my long gone '85 CRX.
I'm amazed how far this whole sim racing thing has come in 20 years. Things like SimHub, Crew Chief, seat shakers are all amazing little things that go along way to making this stuff fun. This is a great time to be in same racing. You don't have to build your own wheels even anymore, but you still can if you want.
