Greetings Forum!
A few words to introduce myself:
My name is Rob and I was born (1975) and raised in Germany. Still live there in Hesse near Frankfurt.
I am a motorsports aficionado (mostly GT racing) and eventually found my way to sim racing.
Started out pretty late on PC with AC, later R3E and now exclusively ACC.
Before that (non-sim): OutRun or Test Drive on C64 up till Gran Turismo 4,5,6 on PS3 before I finally switched to PC.
Joined the RD forum in 2017 to connect to other sim racers. For some time I was looking for a community where I could race with like minded people. Finally I found Steve Worrell's post about founding ACCSS on Simracing.GP, which was my first online racing experience. I am still around, still improving and having tons of fun.
I document the evolution of my SimRig here, if anybody is interested.
Other hobbies are e.g my hobby car, photography, cycling. Not so much invested in hifi / home cinema anymore, but still like to listen to movie scores and of course other various styles of music. I tried creating music in my youth but failed miserably.
Thank you RD for this superb community!
