Cars Non transparent headlight glass

Hi all,
So I have a problem with the headlights of this McLaren:

The glass covering the headlights is marked as not transparent. I've Highlighted the part on the right side and hidden the parts on the left side of the car using the CMshowroom and the lights do work underneath. Is there a way to make the mesh transparent or to just delete it?

So I've so far unpacked the kn5, edited the model in blender to make the meshes transparent (even though im not sure that will work because nothing was transparent in blender when loading the fbx) But now I am unable to repack the folder in which I replaced the fbx file to kn5. How do I proceed?
