News/Home page subscription unavailable.

Hi guys,

Since the last update of the forum, I don't receive E-mail notifications nor Alerts
when a new News post is published, and I don't see any Subscription tag or
button anywhere from which to subscribe to this News page. I'm subscribed
though to receive almost everything, if not all, in my account's preferences. So,
is there a way to subscribe to this News page?

We haven't changed anything that affects the alerts being sent out. Maybe you have changed your preferences?

Are the sections labeled with "article" ticked?

Also you can subscribe to each article category individually.

For example: https://www.racedepartment.com/news/categories/games.2/

Clicking the Watch button subscribes you to the category and you can setup how you wish to receive the notifications.

Let me know if this solves the problem or that you need any additional info.

Hey Bram,

Thanks for the reply. Just re-checked my preferences and I had every option ticked but one.
I have ticked it too to see if this solves the problem. Now, the thing is that that option
seems to have disappeard from the page... weird. I don't remember what it said exactly,
but it was something about 'Dismissing' some 'Notices'. Sorry, but these are the two
only words I can remember. I did a text search with the word 'Dism' and nothing shows
up now.

Anyway, I hope this was the problem and it is fixed now. I presume you guys receive
an Alert or E-mail notification when a new News post is created.
